The Lengthen the Cords and Strengthen the Stakes Steering Ministry was commissioned by the Deacons to "Make recommendations to the Deacons and church body for changes in the organizational structure based on LCSS".

On April 18th, the Deacons met to review the proposed organizational structure. The Deacons voted unanimously to recommend that the church adopt the proposal.

The church voted to accept the proposal at the Quarterly Business Meeting on May 26th, 2010.

The LCSS Ministry will present the reviised Bylaws to the church for a vote at the November, 2010 Quarterly Business Meeting.
