Kevin was born and raised in Kansas City, Missouri. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Communication from Central Missouri State University and a Master of Religious Education from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.

He served on the ministry staff of Holmeswood Baptist Church in Kansas City, Missouri and of The First Baptist Church of Austin Texas as Minister to Students and Their Families bringing twenty years of Student Ministries experience to Highland Park. Most recently Kevin served as the Associate and Interim Pastor of The Baptist Church of Driftwood, Texas.

Kevin, Lori and twin daughters, Madison and Morgan live on a little ranch in the hills of Dripping Springs, Texas.
